You might thiink “oh she’s so young to say this” But seriously Ive had the worst acnes on my forehead and my cheeks just now started breaking out little by little… I have this big spot on my chin where it looks like I have a piercing but no its just a scar of a pimple! Since I was 11 everyone would make fun of me or make smart remarks about my acne since they didnt have any. I always replied by staying shut because the truth is the truth but the truth hurts sometimes.. Its soo depressing because I have tried proactive, clean and clear, clearasil, benzoyl peroxide, dove, Ives, Johnson & Johnson, Soft soap, Oxy, neutragena, neutragena pads, cinnamon and honey… but nothing seems to work! =…[ I’m so frustrated and sad and tired of trying so mannnyy things! I looked through all of these remedies and seen alot that people contradict or say no it doesnt work and another person says yes it does. I try to drink water at times but I get nauseous when I drink water. I don’t know why. I can only drink water when its really cold or in a strawberry gatorade bottle. *sigh* I eat alot of avocado and I am in love with fruits but its just hopeless. I stress when I see a new pimple and especially the ones that hurt when you touch them I get like 1 or 2 of them at the same time a few times in 6 months. Around my period I tend to break out, but when my period comes I get clearer. I dont even eat that much chocolates and candy for a kid. I was always not that in love with it. And sometimes when I used products my face gets even more sensative and all. Right now on the bright side… I just tried the oats and water paste mix and it seems to be working. My face as I feel is softer and my pimples are hardening as if theyre drying up. So I think I will stick with that one some time but soon I will be back to this page again searching for answers 🙁

All around, it is the worst trend I have seen in a while, on par with the atkins diet.(did anyone actually enjoy that diet?Because a truly healthy diet is SUPPOSED to be enjoyable.) I suppose if you get a high from putting your body through hell then by all means, sweat away in your formfitting yoga pants but if you’re doing it for the health benefits alone then you are a damn fool.
If you use lemon juice anyway, dear God, don’t go out into the sun for a while afterwards. I’m serious. It can cause massive blisters that make the worst sunburn you’ve ever had seem like a great time.
I am 28 and have struggled with acne and pimples since i was about 15 i used proactive but when i stopped using it the acne came back worse. Now that i have to shave on a regular basis for my job it seems to get worse and the best thing i found that actually clears and helps prevent the acne and pimples i simply Neosporin cream (not ointment) i put that on my face and neck after i shave or wash my face rub it in and this is what works for me.
DO NOT use Proactive. I used it before and it went worst. I got pimples all over my face. And finally I had to visit a skin doctor. Now I just apply Aloe Vera gel on my face before going to bed and rinse it off with a warm water in the morning. I hardly have 2-3 pimples on my face now 🙂
