I am 24, have had pimples and acne since I was 12….I recommend rose hip oil (organic and pure) for the scarring, it works wonders, it won’t clear it up 100% but it will keep skn looking younger..stay away from brands that are full of chemicals…i make up my own tea tree mix…tea tree oil diluted..and I wash with tea tree soap before hand….i go to an acupuncturist…acne can have a lot to do with diet..i find cheese, beef , shell fish and anything acidic gives me pimples..but every body is different. I suffered from TERRIBLE acne for almost 10 years. I finally on my 26th birthday, gave up and saw a dermatologist. He gave me a prescription for antibiotics and said that would help. I was pretty sure there was no chance that I was suffering from a 10 year bacterial infection, so I ditched the pills. Instead I found a website (which I wish I could remember) that suggested zinc deficiencies may be to blame. Immediately I began taking a supplement once a day, with food so I didn’t yack, and saw results in about a week! Now, a year later, I take zinc, vitamins A, E, C, D, and a “super B complex” as well as flax and fish oil (all super cheap at Wal-Mart) and I have almost no breakouts!! I use an over the counter scrub one a day, and once a day I exfoliate VERY, VERY GENTLY with baking soda. I cannot stress the gentle part there!!! Very lightly, over the face once, 30 seconds tops, done! I make sure to get about 15 mins of morning sun, before noon that is, every day. My scars are almost completely healed and I have less than 3 breakouts a month, down from 15-20, and even those are minimal and easily heal!
