I was facing this acne problem since two years. I consult many doctors, but it all fails…then i try Aloe Vera…apply fresh aloe vera juice after bath on your skin for half an hour see result in one week…it definately work……
This kitchen staple has many surprising beauty uses, including as an acne-clearing facial cleanser and mask. Make a paste of three parts baking soda to one part water and rub into your face with gentle, circular strokes. Leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. “Baking soda is drying and removes oil,” explains Dr. Jaliman. “It also makes a great exfoliant.”
In all that, I learned that it is a waste of money. Many of these brands have EXTREMELY harmful chemicals that will only work for a limited amount of time. I’ve found that EVERYONE’S SKIN IS DIFFERENT, so don’t just go with whatever your friends use.

As you go about treating acne, it’s important to remember that all acne isn’t the same. What works really well for one kind of pimple might not work at all for another. You want to use the type of acne treatment that targets your particular kind of acne. If you use the wrong treatment you might even make your breakouts worse. The first step in how to get rid of acne is understanding what kind of acne you have—read on to learn about blackheads, white heads, small red bumps, hormonal acne and cystic acne, and how to best treat each.
The topical use of tea tree reduces redness and has strong antibacterial properties. It’s been shown to be effective against P. acnes and Staph aureus, the two strains of bacteria associated with acne. I recommend topical products containing at least 5% tea tree. Make your own serum at home by combining 5% tea tree oil with 95% of a non-comedogenic oil (such as argan oil).
DO NOT over use products, only use one or two at a time. When using your product be consistant do not wash your face to much or pile on product. Using an advanced acne treatments and using other treatments at a time could cause you to break out more (if you have sensitive skin). Try one product at a time for a week, because if you use all of these products at a time and your face gets worse (or in some cases better) you will not know what helped or made it worse.. .. ….. 420~~~~
i had acne for 30 years. i was a very healthy eater i thought. i tried every method possible. finally at the age of 45 i took my son to the dermatologist because of his extreme severe cystic acne at the age of 17. he was desperate and we had tried everything. finally he was prescribed the dangerous drug, accutane. i studied what that drug was, and found it was vitamin A only. my son took it and of course it cleared him up. why?????? vitamin A regulates the oil glands. i then asked my doctor if drinking carrot juice would do it? she then told me YES! she said take a 15 miligram of zinc and 3 glasses of carrot juice a day for a few months. your oil content will slow down and you will have clear skin. it totally worked, on me, and my son, and all of my 6 kids. i found out also to eliminate salt as much as you can. it makes you hold fluid around your cells. NO HOT SAUCE and NO CAFFIENE!!!:-)
Salicylic acid is used as a topical ingredient to decrease inflammation and exfoliate the skin. Willow bark contains a natural source of salicylic acid. While salicylic acid can actually cause skin irritation in some people, willow bark provides a more gentle method of exfoliation. It sloughs off dead skin and speeds up the turnover of cells, expediting the overall healing of skin.
The increased breakouts can happen initially due to releasing all of the trapped oil, toxins, etc. They should decrease, but like any healing crisis, things may get worse a bit before they get better.
Dermatologists also offer some high-tech remedies. “We have a treatment called Isolaz that uses suction to deep-clean pores without trauma,” says Day. “It has a light pulse that kills the bacteria that cause acne and some of the redness, so it prevents and treats breakouts.” Day recommends trying a series of Isolaz treatments (one per week for several weeks) to calm breakouts and prevent scarring.
i’m coming up too be 15, and i rarely get big spots, just under the skin ones which you can only see in daylight. i put makeup on when at school (but not loads) and when i go out. if i try to get rid of the acne by squeezing them, it hurts and after leaves them red, and scabby. i don’t know how too get rid of these scabs, or my under skin ones. help. >-(
Sulfur: This has been used for centuries to treat acne, psoriasis, and eczema. Sulfur helps by breaking down blackheads and whiteheads. It is unclear exactly how it works, but elemental sulfur slowly oxidizes to become sulfurous acid, which has antibacterial properties.
Azelaic acid cream. Apply to clean, dry skin twice per day to start. Then can decrease to once per day. Improvement usually takes a few weeks. It helps fight bacteria and may decrease comedo formation.
Accutane is especially good for cystic acne in women and body acne in men. “Oral vitamin A basically shuts down your sebaceous glands. If you suppress [them] for a long enough period, you can cure someone of their acne, about 50 percent do hit that cure rate,” says Linkner. A course of Accutane can take about six to nine months. Sometimes patients need to repeat the course at a higher dosage in order to truly eliminate acne.
Among the most popular OTC remedies is salicylic acid, which is incorporated into gels, wipes, creams, and sprays. The acid reduces swelling and redness and unplugs pores. To keep skin from becoming too dry, look for formulas geared to adult women, not teens (aim for 2% salicylic acid to start). Some skin care lines offer salicylic acid products that address acne and wrinkles alike. Murad Acne & Wrinkle Reducer ($44; ulta.com) uses the acid to clean skin and throws in a kombucha extract to stimulate collagen production.
I’m 12 and I have minor acne, what I have been doing is every night I’ve been washing my face with warm water with a scrub that helps my skin. And every other night I use an Olay skin treatment and apply it on a brush that spins and exfoliate my face about 2-3 minutes. I really does help my acne. Acne is caused by a build up of grease, dirt and sweat. If you wash your face every night and when you wake up your acne WILL go down, mine did 🙂 if you start to breakout you can apply toothpaste on your pimple(s) or potential pimple(s). Then when you wake up your pimple will simply be a little white/black head or a little scab. Try not to pop your pimples, the pus spreads across your face and that makes you breakout even more. And don’t touch your face the dirt on your fingers will make you breakout even more.
hey yall! i have some bumps on my forehead right where my part is so i cant hide the acne with my hair and i also have bumps on my cheeks and chin. i have a dance coming up and i really want my face to be clear…i am thinking of using the asprin thing tonight. does it really work?
Food: Parents often tell teens to avoid pizza, greasy and fried foods, and junk food. While these foods may not be good for overall health, they don’t cause acne or make it worse. Although some recent studies have implicated a high-carbohydrate diet, milk, and pure chocolate in aggravating acne, these findings are very far from established.
so i, like many of you , am in highschool , and when i was in middle school i had the worst acne, now im a cheerleader and cheer in front of thousands of people. I realized the pressure of everyone watching me and that my face HAD to be perfect and tan (which im obssessed with) but thats really hard to do when you spend hours everday working out at cheer, and at home, etc. the sweat is disgusting and clogs your pores. so about 5 months ago i realized that when you go to work out , bring ALOT OF WATER. it flushes out all the toxins, its all i drink now (it helped me lose 6 pounds and i now have perfect abs) also bring a clean towell, when ever your feeling sweaty, PAT it off , do not rub it causes irritation. also when you go home, shower immediately clean your face well, always take off your makeup, do not cake it on, it only clogs your pores. i use bareminerals its great ! it creates flawless skin, has spf in it and does not clog pores. after its all off and you used a facewash, put white toothpaste all over your face, leave it on for 2 hours then rinse off and immediately put a oil free moisterizer on with vitamin e! i use aquaphor and eucerin. in a couple of days you will notice a difference, im now acne free and i love going out without makeup ! it defintly boosts your confidence !:-D 😉
To avoid further clogging of your pores, all cosmetics, lotions, and sunscreens should be oil-free! To avoid dry skin, use an oil-free lotion such as Complex 15. To avoid sunburn use oil-free products such as Neutrogena or Coppertone Oil-free Sunscreen. And remember to beware of hair products and gels, as they tend to be very oily.
I usually lack sleep and wake up with these dark rings around my eyes… and usually have a few blackheads on my nose that has reallly been bugging me alot! i recently visited my grandma and she told me her secret that i would like to share… she said the only thing is that u use cucumber leave it around the eye and nose area for 20 mins and helps relief iratation … i done it for a week now and starting to see great results ! good luck 😉
Lemons act as an exfoliant, skin lightener, and disinfectant to reduce the appearance of scars and prevent new pimples from forming. On a clean face, dab acne with a cotton ball or cotton swab dipped in lemon juice, then rinse with cool water.
