Avoid using anything that rubs against your back, such as a backpack. Anything that rubs against your back can irritate your skin, causing back acne to flare. Swap a backpack for a handheld bag. If you carry a purse on your shoulder, place the strap on your arm.
Should I use lemon juice twice a day? After appplying, should I wash my face with cold water? What about my back and neck? I use sunshade regularly so after washing, will it be helpful or I have to use another moisterizer? oilfree or not? And I read drinking lemon water in the morning helps detoxyfying, so with warm water or cold? Lotta questions right? But I need to know these clearly and help will be highly appreciated. Thanks
One final important step in getting rid of acne is SELF LOVE! I had to do a lot of emotional house cleaning during the process of basically changing my lifestyle. Love yourself! Every single inch! Inside and Out. Only then can true healing begin!
Think about it, if their “cure” really cured your acne, how are they going to continue profiting off of you? At best, the product will reduce your acne breakouts slightly, but definitely not completely. At worst, the product will do nothing at all or possibly make your acne worse! The key is buying your anti acne products from trusted, well reviewed companies that have helped thousands of acne sufferers. Buying over the counter is like flushing your money down the bowl — don’t do it!
-Your facial skin is incredibly delicate, treat it like silk. No harsh or abrasive physical scrubs, avoid any sharp or rough exfoliants that can damage, cut, or harass your skin. Rubbing and irritating your skin can piss acne off more than it already is.

I really appreciated this list because my daughter who has acne, has been resistant to using medications or OTC remedies. We both prefer natural remedies. However, when I got to #18 and read your remarks about the pillowcase and how “most of us” aren’t washing them weekly, I was horrified. Changing your bedding – pillowcases included should be a weekly must for the sake of basic hygiene and health. As you sleep, you sweat and if you are a sexually active adult, well, you can fill in the blank on what else happens between your sheets. Cleanliness will enhance your health and happiness in so many ways…if for no other reason than you aren’t wallowing in funk.
1. You should only wash your face 2 times everyday-in the morning and right before you go to bed, the only exception to this is if your work out or play a sport then wash your face after that to get the sweat off
I really oily skin and tried everything possible and nothing has worked for me. Neither does Proactive, my face started to clear up with Nuetragena Pink Grape Fruit but my acne never seemed to go away so currently I’m not using anything except soap. If you could help me, please do.
Isn’t garlic great for everything? Not only does garlic have a ton of antibacterial properties when you eat it, it also has great effects when applied directly to the skin. To use, just thinly slice a clove of garlic. Rub the garlic clove and the juice of the garlic onto your skin, paying close attention to problem areas, and leave on for up to 30 minutes.
