The reason why I use Neutrogena oil free acne wash and Alpha Hydrox 10% glycolic acid is because I read somewhere that to get proper exfoliation the product needs to have a pH of 3 to 4.5 and those two products are in the right pH range. I have to say that I have never had skin this clear since I was probably about 12 years old! As an adult I have always battled insanely oily skin, facial redness, cystic chin acne and blackheads that I could never completely get rid of. Not only have these products and this skin care routine cleared all of my acne, but my skin is very even toned, younger looking and a lot less oily!
“Apart from genetics, diet, changes in hormones and stress, choosing the wrong skincare is having a big influence. Those in their thirties or forties who start to see lines and wrinkles begin investing in anti-aging skincare regimes,” she said.
Drink alot of water… and wash ur face 4-5 times a day with soft soap…. apply honey and lemon juice mixture on ur face and wash it after 15 minutes with luke warm water… do this twice a week…. It helps!!! 🙂
Call your doctor if you or your child has acne that is not controlled with over-the-counter washes or gels. Even small amounts of acne can be embarrassing and psychologically painful to young people. Acne can result in scarring.
Dermatologists also use cortisone shots as a magic wand to instantly deflate cystic bumps, though Dr. Jegasothy notes that this methodology is falling out of favor. “They are known to occasionally cause indentations which may persist up to three months after the pimple has gone,” she warns. Instead of using steroid injections, she turns to combinations of oral antibiotics (typically used for two to four months), light chemical peels (to help control oil and reduce clogged pores), topical medications, probiotic cleansers (which can help balance skin), and lasers.
Rinse your face with water and pat dry. Mix 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon together until they are thoroughly blended and have formed a sort of paste. Apply the mask to your face (or spot treat) and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off completely, and pat your face dry. This is a sticky mixture, so make sure you have some paper towels at on hand.
Wash your face with the Apricot scrub, making sure you REALLY scrub the affected area. Wash it off with warm/hot water and pat your face dry with a towel. Pop any white heads you have and then apply rubbing alcohol to the affected area. DO NOT apply to your whole face it will dry it out. Then after the rubbing alcohol drys apply toothpaste to ONLY your acne. Let it sit until it drys. wash it off, using the apricot scrub. After apply the clearasil to your acne and let it sit. LAST ! apply the Moisteriser to make sure your face doesnt dry out.
Determine what kind of acne you have. There are different treatments for acne depending on how severe your condition is. I’ve done the peroxide times I broke out bad but when it’s bad acne I wouldn’t use it because it makes ur pimples and bumps on ur face turn white where it’s killing the germs and working. I have yet to figure out how to use it without my acne turning white from it. But I do know it does work!! It’s just dealing with the bumps all over ur face being white 🙁
Try washing face and/or body with Dial antibacterial soap. It helped clear my back up and my face too. Also for breakouts on your face, wash am and pm with Dial, apply benzoil peroxide cream to breakouts. After about 15 minutes apply moisturizer that is oil free. Make sure to apply very gently so you don’t rub off the benzoil peroxide, just barely rub in. Dove makes a good moisturizer. I think its oil free. The acne cream drys out your skin which causes it to produce more oil and that leads to more breakouts. This is why you need the moisturizer. If you wear make up during the day, skip acne cream until bedtime. Try not to wear make up too much, it really causes more acne.
step#.1 try using ( St.Ives Apricot Scrub EXFOLIATING )…make sure u take a good amount but not to much and scrub mostly the ance spots ..i like fast results so i tend to scrub my pimples really hard with it but if your more of the gentle type then just take your time and scrub your face lightly with it, then rinse.
Blackheads are the result of hair follicles becoming clogged with dead skin cells, oil, and sometimes bacteria. The oil has ‘oxidized’ as it reacts with air, which gives it the appearance of being black. A lot of various factors can play into whats causing the openings to become so clogged, so its a good idea to double check anything you’re using on your face (like make-up, foundation, sunscreen, moisturizer, etc.) and maybe experiment with a gentler method/product.
I have tried everything on the shelf and it is about come to more expenses than just going to a dermatologist do yourself a favor save your time your money go to a dermatologist once they perscribe you something that works you can go to a regular doctor and they can perscribe the same thing, I lived with horrible acne as an adult for three years it was depressing and sometimes I evan called in on a job because I didnt want people to see me I would even hide from husband because I didnt want him to think I was ugly it got so bad that my son would tell me my face looked really bad and that really hurts because children will tell you the truth about anything when their little, do yourself a favor go to a dermatologist they will find out what works for you, I should have went alot sooner I didnt think I could afford it, but guess what I went one time thats all it took.:-):-;-)
What would be the best recommondation, I’ve always had acne problems since I was 9 years old, and I’m soon to turn 25… So yeah that tells you I’ve add acne problems for awhile now. I’ve tried so many medicines over the counter, and seen the doctor. Tried Pro Active. Stuff seems to work for only a little bit. I’ve come to notice that my skin is actually pretty senstive to most medicines I’ve been using which is probably why I continue to break out. I’ve started using senstive medication creams while I take a shower… improvement is starting to show, but I just have all these little while acne scars all over my chest and I just was wondering what do you think is the best treatment just knowing that my skin is senstive and I dont want to break out more from something. I’m not allergic to anything that I am aware of so I am willing to try anything at this moment. Whomever took the time to read this, I great appreciate it and I’m willing to try any recommondations! Thanks again…
Adding probiotic foods like sauerkraut, milk kefir or kombucha can improve your digestion and help your immune system to work more effectively, which is often a benefit to the skin, especially skin that needs healing.
