Reduce Coffee Intake – Coffee can be one of the biggest contributing causes of acne in some people. Yet, it is also one of the most difficult habits to break. On the surface, it’s hard to make the connection between coffee consumption and acne. Coffee, itself is extremely acidic – leading to inflammation. It can also contribute to a B vitamin deficiency, which affects stress management (see below). Unbridled stress causes inflammation and hormone disruption. All of this adds up to the perfect storm for acne to rear its ugly head.
Use oil-free makeup. If you wear makeup, you may be stuck in a vicious cycle of covering up acne while simultaneously causing it with cover-up usage. Find acne-fighting oil-free mineral makeup to help prevent worsening your acne while simply trying to hide it. Power foundations are also recommended. When possible, avoid wearing make-up at all though as it clogs your pores over the course of the day.
I’m 21 now and really only break out during my period. Eating right is key! I totally cut out soda. I drink only water and juice. I’m guaranteed a breakout if I indulge myself in soda. Exercise helps a lot. When I run everyday my face clears up big time. I don’t use hairspray or much product at all in my hair. If u do don’t sleep without washing it out. I do use clearasil when I need it and neutrogena acne prone soap everytime I wash my face. And to moisturize ur face use Vaseline at night. It’s a natural skin protectant so ur face won’t pick up more dirt and bacteria and makes ur skin so soft and gives it a glow. I’m serious. Try it.
My acne starts with small white bubbles on my chin & cheeks & then after few days it grows… spread all over & become painfull, red, juicy, big pimples…. they dont go for weeks & leave marks for months….

Hi guys!!!!i read a lot from the blog about acne…its really a nightmare!!!!I also had it before i didn’t try pond’s and any facial wash before because it will make your face uneven color…it’s so unfair like other people i’ve seen using maxi peel super kawawa their face kasi its too harsh….if you have sensitive skin try washing your face with celeteque facial wash its just 100 bucks below it WORKS!!no offense to other brand !and if your pimple appearing red try using toothpaste(colgate preferably)before sleeping it will make your pimple dry in just shortest time..try it!!!!!cheaper yet effective way of making your face smooth and pimple free…
hey, i just used the cinnamon and honey mask about 5 mins ago and it was really itchy during the prosses really itchy, and when i took it off, my face was, and still is exceptionally red and warm to the touch. im not sure if its a reaction, but if you know the reason, it would be helpful

After I quit the treatments, my self-esteem took a total nose-dive. I was always fixated on people looking at my skin. When my flare-ups happened, I made sure to stay inside to avoid being seen. I have 2 teenage boys that were starting to get a ton of zits because of all of the oil that their bodies were producing. I bought a small bottle of mild dish washing liquid that was under a dollar and had them wash their faces each night, before bedtime with it… (I am a broke single mom & was not able to afford too much.) This eliminated the excess oils & got their faces clean & both are clear skinned now, though they do occasionally have a small out break, when they forget to wash with the dish detergent for a week or two…

When I was a teenager, I had terrible cystic acne. No medications helped me, but eventually I “outgrew” it. Now that I am perimenopausal (age 51) I seem to be getting it again. In desperation, I tried birth control pills. It helped with the acne, but the side effects were miserable. I quit the Pill a month ago. I’ve been researching GSPS and how the gut affects our mood. I find that the probiotics in strong kombucha make a world of difference. We haven’t been on it for more than a week so I do not know what changes on my face will occur.
Crack A egg dab a only the egg whites on your pimple, leave it there for 30 min pimple drys out! then wash face with facial cleanser and before you go to bed put some tooth paste on affected area and wash off in morning.. works very welll
