hii! has anyone here ever tried the cetaphil antibacterial bar? i heard it’s really good and i wanna try it out cos my pimples are really bad. but anyways, this is to tha people who have tried it: does it make you whiter cos my skin is a coffee-ish color and i noticed wen i tried other products before it made me whiter and it looked weird cos my arms and legs are dark and then my face is all light..it jus looks weird:-(
I have had acne for about a year and I’m only twelve. My acne infuriates me!>-( Name any acne treatment out there and I will tell you if I have tried it or not. Please, and this goes to all readers, I need something easy, not complicated, and something that a person my age can be able to handle. I don’t want to go and buy things I just want something that is probably in my bathroom cabinet. The reason why I use Neutrogena oil free acne wash and Alpha Hydrox 10% glycolic acid is because I read somewhere that to get proper exfoliation the product needs to have a pH of 3 to 4.5 and those two products are in the right pH range. I have to say that I have never had skin this clear since I was probably about 12 years old! As an adult I have always battled insanely oily skin, facial redness, cystic chin acne and blackheads that I could never completely get rid of. Not only have these products and this skin care routine cleared all of my acne, but my skin is very even toned, younger looking and a lot less oily!
Cystic acne is characterized by long-standing, painful nodules of the face, back of neck, chest, and back. The nose may be spared or significantly involved with pustules and nodules. When these nodules finally recede, they usually leave behind scars. Individual scars may be the classic acne “ice pick” scars, but many of these aggregated together cause a more vermiculate or “worm eaten” scarring. This is especially likely on to occur on the cheeks. While starting as pus-filled pimples, eventually these evolve to inflammatory red papules (bumps) and eventually once treated or in remission may settle down to pink spots.
Sugar and Gluten: Foods that contain sugar or other-glycemic foods like breads and pastas make worsen the inflammation. The more inflammation you have, the worse your cystic acne will be. You can try natural sweeteners instead of them. Consuming sugar and gluten can feed the yeast present in the body and worsen the cystic acne.
