Benefits of Sugar: Sugar makes for the best natural exfoliant for your body. They act as micro beads just like in the store bought scrubs. It works better than the market bought scrubs because it is all natural. Sugar exfoliates your skin. It does not leave behind any traces of residue to block the pores. It also acts as a moisturizer for your skin, preventing it from dryness.
so my honest advice would be to not use baking soda for skin care. just a genuine concern as most people with acne problems wish to try everything they could get their hands on, but be very careful and do your research well before trying anything on your skin.

This is definitely a treatment that works like a miracle for some people, while plaguing and tormenting others. Just try a little bit of it on your arm, or on a small portion of your cheek for a whole week first, to see how your skin reacts. If it works for you, then go for it.

I tried the baking soda as a face mask and I would apply moisturizer and it would leave my skin soft but the next day I would wake up it would be so oily!! Hi Cassie, i too suffered from the excess candida issue. I had some debilitating issues in addition to the “acne”. Keep up the good work w/your candida program. I know from experience how AMAZING the difference is but also how difficult & expensive it is to follow the food program. It is a total lifestyle change.

The only thing that’s sort of worked is Spironolactone, an anti-androgen that helps regulate hormones, in conjunction with birth control pills. Drink plenty of water: Our body gets dehydrated very quickly. Water is one of the important things our body organs require to function properly and it also helps in maintaining the skin soft and supple. Without enough water, our skin gets very dry and we use a heavy duty moisturize to maintain it supple. But moisturizers can clog the pores, so it is important to drink plenty of water.
Use a green tea serum, or simply add 2 tablespoons of loose green tea leaves to one cup of boiling water. Allow the tea to steep for 10 minutes and use as a daily wash. While you’re at it, drink one to two cups of green tea per day for the general anti-inflammatory benefits!

Ive tried egg white & didn’t work. Then i tried using honey & oats mask & i believe it only made it worse. My acne is worse & all over my face 🙁 my skin is very oily so ive always had acne but nothing like now. My name is Betsy and I’m 13 years old (grade 9) I don’t have severe acne but I don’t have mild acne either. It’s somewhere in the middle. But whatever it is, I have acne on my forehead. I haven’t tried anything because I can’t afford it. The only product I use is Apricot Scrub and it didn’t really help me. I really need any home made recipes so that I could use them. I also haven’t gone through puberty yet so I might have pimples/acne because of hormone change but I want to try anything to get rid of pimples/acne.
