If you do not have regular bowel movements (another way your body eliminates waste) your body will find alternatives to eliminate waste which can result in acne as toxins are eliminated through the skin. If constipation is an issue, find some simple remedies to get your body regular.

Oral Antibiotics: This can be a great option for inflammatory acne, especially in athletes and highly active individuals. Antibiotics are helpful in decreasing inflammation and the over-abundance of bacteria associated with back acne.

Avoid all processed foods, eat real foods and make sure to get enough fats into your diet, such as avocados and coconut oil. I don’t think it would be the cornstarch, but as you mentioned, you can try the arrowroot powder and see if it improves. Also as you suggested, I would try it without the cinnamon and see if that helps. For trouble spots, I spot with the mineral makeup because it gives more coverage. 🙂

Hey, I struggle with acne, it’s not that I have a lot it’s that they never go away! I recently went to the body shop and got an exfoliating facial scrub (2 for $18) and I tried using it today. I used then used a cleanser and it worked GREAT! My blackheads went away with one use and reduced the swelling of my pimples. It’s green tea and I love natural stuff so that’s why I went to this site! I wanna try the cinnamon and honey.

I have a question: I am a 19 year old male, who has been struggling with acne for years. First things first: drinking apple cider vinegar won’t cure your acne, says Wu. Used topically as a toner, however, ACV may help due to its acetic acid content, which is both antibacterial and antifungal and can kill acne-causing bacteria. But whether it clears skin or has little effect, rest assured that it won’t do you any harm. You can test it out by making your own ACV toner: Mix one tablespoon of the vinegar with two cups of water, and swipe onto clean skin with a cotton ball.
-Green smoothie abuse. Just make yourself a disgusting, leaf-packed smoothie every day, multiple times a day if you’re feeling masochistic. All of these really work! I work at a day spa and I buy the oils from a lady that is a massage therapist there. But those are the only oils in it. Also if you do a pore cleansing mask 2-3x a week it makes a big difference! I make them at home out of fruit. My favorite one is Blueberries and lemon together! I hope this works for some of ya’ll! 😀
