I’m mid 30’s and still battle with breakouts, I’ve also started developing dark patches of coloration on my forehead and chin. Are there any things mentioned here you haven’t yet tried?? Unfortunately, many of them may make things worse before they get better, but only temporarily (for a few days to maybe a week… but even then it should calm down after a couple of days)!

Great post. You are right about also addressing the causes of Acne instead of merely treating the symptoms. You might want to add Ceylon Cinnamon and honey to the list of topical treatments. It is very effective due to powerful anti bacterial properties and the bleaching effect of Cinnamon which can even out scars. More importantly drinking a cup of Ceylon cinnamon Tea is very good for addressing the causes such as excess sugar, poor nutrient absorption, bad gut bacteria and poor blood circulation. You can use ordinary cinnamon, but that has high levels of Coumarin which can damage your liver.
Thank you for this! My husband has started making kombucha, he gracefully searched for jars with dispensers like you would see at weddings so I didn’t have to mess with the mushroom. I’ve been researching GSPS and how the gut affects our mood. I find that the probiotics in strong kombucha make a world of difference. We haven’t been on it for more than a week so I do not know what changes on my face will occur.
