okay, people think that i am crazy… but this really works… I had acne for years, and i tried everything! some things would work, but they where just temporary, the acne always came back. Then i started to clean my face with hand sanitizer. It seemed to make sense, because hand sanitizer gets rid of bacteria, and really thats what acne is. but i would use it on my entire face once at night time after washing off my make-up, then once in the morning before putting it on. just apply lightly on entire face, and let dry.it helps oily skin too! good luck!

All those ideas are great! One thing to remember tho, the skin has 3 excretory organs, solids (poop), liquid (urine), and skin (eruptions/pimples) The first two have to be overloaded before it hits the skin…. Diet DOES count! Using the topical recipes above are great, but you have to cleanse the other two for long term results and change the diet to one that is not so poisonous and clogging! Does not have to be overnight change all, that would really be jolt to system that can’t handle waste already! Start adding more beneficial foods daily. I try for 5-9 veggies a day~somedays I only eat 3….but most days it will be 7-9 veggies. Keep a food diary. Adapt favorite foods, veggie omelet, veggie pizza etc. ALWAYS try to eat 1-3 cruciferous veggies daily! (Cancer prevention) and veggies that have antibacterial, anti fungal, anti parasite properties…. add and rotate more as you learn more! When I ate like this I felt great!!! i have had adult cystic acne for years and have tried everything the doctors have thrown at me. Well I don’t know if it was all the ACV or what. I have a drawer ful of prescription and over the counter topicals and also antibiotics that i’ve tried over the years along with birth control pills. of course none worked completely and all had their drawbacks or side effects. about a week ago i had the biggest, baddest, most painful cyst i’ve ever had on my chin. i usually get one at a time but not this time – another popped up just under my lip line and another on my jaw line. i was so embarassed and in so much pain. my face was swollen all over the place. so i gave up all my prescription stuff and decided to go all natural.
Help! I’m 13 and i’ve had acne since sixth grade. I’ve tried Proactiv but that seemed to make me skin break out more, so i quit using it. I’ve never tried any home remidies so i’m going to try them. I found that i get more acne when i’m stressed. Hopefully these home remedies work. I’ve never been made fun of for my acne but i feel horrible when i have to walk around in public with red or not red bumps on my face. Can anyone reccomend the most effective home remedy?
Apple cider vinegar – Dilute it well in water. The more sensitive your skin is, the higher the ratio should be so as not to irritate it any further. You can use this as a toner or simply as a drink! It will help fight acne from the inside.

I’ve seen a lot of recommendations from here but before I purchase anything I wanted to see what you most recommend. So far, this is what I’m thinking of doing… Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap Tea Tree to wash my face morning and night, every morning take the Cod Liver Oil, and do a mask for 30-60 minutes at night. You’ve mentioned various options for this.. do you recommend the baking soda or the Bentonite Clay? Any advice on this new regimen before I begin would be most appreciated!

Try the rose hip..you can substitute it for a moisturiser. for those feeling slef conscious….people arent always looking at your skin like you think, 90% of it is in your head….this coming from an extremely self conscious girl

I’m 19 and have has acne since I was 11. The things that I have found that work best (for me, maybe you too) is washing my face with a anti-bacterial, oil-free face wash that has acne fighting products, twice daily. About every 3-4 days, exfoliate using either a wash cloth or a wash that has micro-beads. when you’re exfoliating, don’t SCRUB, lightly massage the cleanser into your face. (Scrubing will break the skin, which leads to scarring.) If you MUST pop a zit, (and I’m a popper, so I understand it can be habit) wash your hands SUPER well before you pop it, use a kleenex on the two fingers you’re using to pop the zit. This prevents any dirt from going inside your freshly popped zit. After you’ve popped your zit, wash your hands again (with anti-bacterial soap) and lightly wash your face. Then apply your topical creams/gels or whatever you use on your skin to help clear. If you use a lotion, make sure it is oil free and fits the description closet to your skin type. If you don’t match your skin type, you’re only causing more problems for yourself.
