Thanks for the above post. I’m on the second day of using baking soda mask. But I’m using it only for 30 mins daily. I have more breakouts now than before. Is it normal? I have black scars as well. Does baking soda mask removes black scars on the face? Awaiting your response. Thanks.

I used Accutane and it is literally a miracle worker. I have no more acne and I am so happy that my dermatologist suggested me using it. She told me that there were horrible side affects, like death, but I still went ahead and took it. I had to go through blood tests every time I visited my doctor just in case nothing was going wrong. My face is absolutely flawless and I am so happy that I went through with it..it literally changed my life completely 🙂

Folliculitis is a skin condition that causes small red bumps to form around the hair follicles. Skin bacteria such as Staphylococcus and Pseudomonas may infect the follicles. Treatment involves over-the-counter bacterial washes, topical antibiotics, and/or topical steroids.

Acne on the back develops just like facial acne: the combination of excess oil, dirt, other debris, and bacteria become trapped in the pores creating lesions and blemishes. For this reason, back acne can run a similar gamut of types, such as whiteheads, blackheads, and cysts.

Adequate and Appropriate Hydration – About 2 liters (8-9 cups) of purified water per day is optimum – more if you consume caffeine or alcohol, as both these substances are dehydrating. Also, please be mindful that the more alkaline the water, the better as acidic water is not absorbed well by your cells and can contribute to inflammation. Without the proper amount and type of water, acne promoting toxins cannot be properly eliminated from your body.

Apply a mask prepared with tomato (rich in vitamin A & C that reduces the pores), oatmeal (removes excess oil from the pores), lemon (natural astringent that removes the excess oil from the pores of the skin) and mint (anti-inflammatory that reduces the pain).

Why do I get acne on my back? Like the skin on your face, your back has a great deal of sebaceous glands and hair follicles that secrete sebum, a waxy substance designed to keep your skin moisturized. When excess sebum combines with bacteria and dead skin cells, it can clog up your pores and create pimples on your back.

Apart from the conventional treatment, many people choose various home remedies to deal with acne. Natural and herbal remedies are becoming increasingly popular as these usually pose less risk of side effects, particularly for sensitive skin. Some of the commonly used herbal or home remedies for acne are as follows:

ive heard puttin talcum powder (baby powder, white stuff, u get what i mean, if u dont ask ur mom) on ur face ovanight wrks:) it dries out the acne and all the heads fall off or go away or wateva. gonna try it tonight so fingas crossd

While acne usually affects teenagers and 20somethings the most, anyone of any age can get acne, even babies. Our instinctual response — picking at it, rubbing it and canceling our social engagements — doesn’t help in the least, but fortunately, there are some treatments available that can.

DermalMD Acne Serum is the best thing I’ve ever purchased for my face. I think this is essential to anyone with acne problems. If I detect the onset of a breakout this not only halts it but will erase/suppress it within 1-2 days. DermalMD Acne Serum has gotten rid of the biggest of my under the skin within a weak and is great for controlling oil.

I have SUPER sensitive skin and I sometimes end up with “Burns” on my face from too-strong acne treatments. My skin is pretty oily, too. My dermatologist recommended the Citrus Clear products – OMG I love them! They literally work overnight and it doesn’t burn, sting or leave marks on my face like some in the past have.

i’ve tried almost everything but they worked a little.so i stared to use ice on my face lime with salt and rub it on and toothpaste it really works and also steam my face now its getting better.:-):-D;-)B-):-P
