hey, i have acne on my nose, chin, and 4head and i really want to clear it up. i dont like being around my friends with the acne because i just get stares. and their big zits too. my remedy is that if you have a pool or go to your local pool often, get the zit, pimple or what ever you have open and jump in the pool, stay in for a while then wait. the chlorine will dry up the acne somewhat fast. thats why i try to get into my pool as often as i can. hope this helps. 🙂
Your skin is your friend. You like your skin. Your skin likes you. It protects you from the elements and literally keeps you together. You in turn do your best to protect it from any kind of damage. Then, one day, acne rears its ugly head, and you suddenly hate your skin. What do you do then? Turn to harsh chemicals, and expensive scrubs? That’s a fine way to thank a friend who’s been there for you since day one. Your epidermis isn’t at fault here-it can’t help that your hormones are causing all that extra sebum to clog up your pores, or the fact that bacteria is running rampant. If your skin could talk it would say something along the lines of “patience, grasshopper. Treat me right and I shall repay you in kind.”
I used to have lots of acne too and only mary kay products kept it really clear, but like you, when i stopped acne was back. Through online research i discovered that many people have been recommended by dermatologists to use clearasil. It doesnt keep my skin 100% clear but close. I combine that with clean and clear persa gel for the few breakouts i get. I wash my face at night and morning. At night i wear a light face moisturizer, and durig he day i wear sunblock under my makeup. I do use st ives apricot scrub once or twice a week. If i notice my pores too big i just a little lemon mixed w a few drops of water and voila, theyre gone. For large pores u can also try egg white with a few drops of lemon at least once a week (i swear this works magic!). I also try home made masks that work for me. If just want to clear my pores and dead cells i mix baking soda, honey and lemon and create a consistency. If i want to feel my skin really soft and brighter i mix a tbspn of oatmeal oats with water and once theyre soaked i crush them and apply that to my face until it dries. I know many home remedies, my point is try a few and see what works best for you. But as for the cleanser, id say clearasil is the best one ive used and its cheap and very gentle with skin. Good luck! I just spilled some of my secrets
Among the most widely successful strategies they employ is prescribing different topical medications – which are frequently “coupled” in a single lotion, gel or other delivery substance – in combination with oral antibiotics to address multiple causes and effects of acne.
I dont have very bad acne, theres just a few of those REALLY annoying pimples that are under the skin, that take foreverrrrrr to go away, and i just was my face with clean and clear morning burst, everynite, and clearsil wipes in the morning, and my face is pretty clear i guesss, so try that! hope i helped! 😉
Mild or moderate acne can be managed with the help of a doctor. However, severe acne characterized by nodules and cysts may need referral to a specialist, as it might leave scars or already show signs of scarring. This is partly because the main drugs used to treat cystic acne are tightly controlled.
Taking proper care of your skin and a healthy lifestyle are very important for treating cystic acne. There are also some simple home cures that can help treat it by bringing down swelling and fighting infection.
Acne (acne vulgaris, common acne) is a disease of the hair follicles of the face, chest, and back that affects almost all teenagers during puberty — the only exception being members of a few primitive Neolithic tribes living in isolation. It is not caused by bacteria, although bacteria play a role in its development. It is not unusual for some women to develop acne in their mid- to late-20s.
This beneficial substance is commonly used for cleaning oily skin, clearing out skin pores, and diminishing scars due to acne. A face pack prepared from a mixture of fuller’s earth and rose water can be applied for quick results as it can reduce the effects of any sebum that has been additionally built up beneath the pores on the face.
Shower often. Although you may want to keep your water bill down, showering regularly helps to keep oil production low, kill bacteria, and rinse away dead skin cells. Wash your entire body with a mild cleanser and use shampoos that limit oil production in your hair. Be sure to always shower after exercising to remove the dead skin cells your body has sloughed off through sweating.
“Other good over-the-counter options are benzoyl peroxide-containing agents,” says Dr. Engelman. “I like La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo. Benzoyl peroxide is anti-microbial, attacking the bacteria that is associated with acne. The La Roche Posay product also contains Lipohydroxy acid (LHA), which serves as an exfoliator to smooth roughness and even out skin texture.”
Applying natural or herbal products to the affected areas of acne scars can be helpful, but it is not the only solution. Remember that other skin care issues are solved both internally and externally. Be sure to maintain a healthy, balanced diet that has a sufficient amount of vitamins and minerals, particularly those that are renowned for boosting skin health, like vitamin A, and antioxidant-rich food that reduces any further damage to your skin. Including fruits and vegetables in your daily diet to reduce acne scars is a good idea, considering they are healthy and delicious dietary items that are associated with healthier skin.
This remedy works best when it is used for single cystic acne nodules, not clusters. You can still apply ice to a clustered area, but you will need plenty of patience and time to ensure that each cyst has properly had contact with the ice.
